SESSION PROPOSALS

Apply to present at the Fifth Biennial FAME Conference Chicago, July 19-21, 2024 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - Alsip.

Deadline for submissions is January 1, 2024. Applicants will be notified of their status on or before February 15, 2024.

With more than 30 conference sessions over two days, the FAME Conference offers informative and engaging professional learning opportunities presented by FAME-Endorsed Teacher Trainers and experienced practitioners who will demonstrate applications of the Feierabend approach: First Steps in Music, Conversational Solfege, and more. In conjunction with the 2024 conference, FAME is also pleased to announce the offering of FAME Electives July 18-19, 2024 which are deeper dives into the Feierabend philosophy in three-hour workshop settings.

The main conference event kicks off on Friday, July 19 2024 at 6:30 p.m. with the ever-popular Strawberry Social and evening Folk Dance. Put on your dancing shoes and join us for a Feierabend tradition of dessert and dancing with caller Sanna Longden!

Join us as colleagues and friends come together for the traditional Saturday evening dinner banquet (included in conference registration) and Community Sing.
